Streaming Live TV with DSTV Multichoice

Hi, i am not sure this is the right section to post this but anyways...

My Friends got a DSTV Multichoice in his flat which is in a different building than mine...BUT we are connected thru WIFI Networking which is perfectly working. Now is there a method to STREAM the DSTV from his flat to mine...

i tried using VLCPlayer for the same with a little success on account of the quality...but the main problem is i am not able to change the channels...

Any Ideas Please....

I'm not sure how you will do it without dedicated hardware... a Tivo with a turbonet card can do it (about R1500)...

Basically i am able to do it...the problem is this is not the PERFECT solution...as i have to ask my friend to change the channel for me...lol...

so, i need some technique...so that i can do it myself...without bothering him..

The TV card should come with a remote - get a second one (maybe a universal) and use a remote blaster then?
