So last night just before I went to bed around 11:00 pm , I remembered that rain speeds improve in the evenings. So did a speedtest and was getting 7mb upload and roughly the same download (I'm the 24/7 package btw). So I decided to test live streaming on Youtube with a private stramed, cranked up OBS set my stream to 2500, it started to stream but then but then randomly disconnected. so I cut down the stream to 1500, it started off with a random disconnect but video was choppy, so I decided to set the stream to 2000, from this point on OBS will drop 100% of frames no matter what quality I set the stream.

is streaming on Rain just impossible?

Their disclaimer does specify that they throttle streaming to a 360p equivalent. In my experience it can get up to 480p. They apply this to Neflix, Youtube, Showmax and others.
