Hi, I'm looking for a South African Radio station that I can stream on local bandwidth that is currently playing house/dance music. Anyone know of any?

I like this program. The streams keep doing weird things and stalling though.

How much bandwidth do you think it uses?

it should not do that:eek:
but it depends on what adsl you have
look at the bitrate of the stream
all the sa stations are 22k, even a 56k modem will work which is the same as 3kb download
take the bitrate of the station which is in kbits and devide by 8 = xkbyte/s downstream ( download)

the max for a 384k adsl is 40kb/s downstream any station with a bitrate more than 384k will stall now and then
a 4meg adsl will work with all the streams

remember, in settings general switch off " allow multiple streams "
or it will keep streaming the stations you dbl click on even when you switch to another one which will add up on your bandwidth ( used for quick channel surfing ) not good in sa with our caps and slow adsl :(
