I need expert help please. I have a HD PVR 2P and a DSTV HD Decoder set up as an Extraview configuration.
This works very well.
I also have a Google Chromecast device that inputs at this time into the main TV HDMI port and can receive the stream signal from any of my computers on the home network.
The only problem is that my computer generated stream shows only on the main TV.
I would like to also distribute that stream throughout the house like all the output from the two decoders.
Is there a way to input the google chromecast into one of the decoders so that it can be distributed.
Therefor can I input into the decoder HDMI port and will it output that signal in RF?

Not possible using your decoders. You will need to split the Chromecast HDMI signal using a 1x2 HDMI splitter. Output 1 of the HDMI splitter to main television, and output 2 to 2nd TV. Depending on the distance, a long HDMI cable or HDMI over Cat5e/6 extender kit is required to connect to 2nd TV

Depending on distance to 2nd TV
10M HDMI cable -> https://avsupply.co.za/product_info.php/hdmi-cables-10m-hdmi-cable-v14-p-699
20M HDMI cable -> https://avsupply.co.za/product_info.php/hdmi-cables-20m-hdmi-cable-v14-p-535
30M HDMI over Cat5e/6 extender -> https://avsupply.co.za/product_info.php/extenders-30m-hdmi-extender-over-single-cat5e-with-p-802
60M HDMI over Cat5e/6 extender -> https://avsupply.co.za/product_info...-extender-over-single-cat5e6-cable-with-p-730

You could also get a splitter and extender in one

HDMI splitter extender (HDMI output to main TV, output 2 via network cable to 2nd room TV) -> https://avsupply.co.za/product_info...67-splitter-extender-with-hdmi-loop-out-p-801

Chrome cast does not broadcast a stream... it receives a stream from another source.

You would need a Crome Cast on each TV and then some kind of capture device that does streaming.

AVsupply has a better solution....
