Streaming Video from PC to TV

Seems like no. As far as I know the 503's are very basic models without the media player function, very few input ports etc. That website also says the TV doesn't support Allshare (Samsung's name for DLNA)

I am not that clued up with TV's what is the Lan port for then?

I agree with the previous reply, The TV looks like a very basic model, so im not that sure

If you want a TV which can stream movies, music and pictures. Get a Tv which has DLNA connectivity, if that's not possible your best option and is to purchase a networkable media player or build a HTPC.

The Best option is to buy a cheap PC, then add a decent video card/graphics card for HD Video, you then buy a cheap remote and run media player software such as XBMC, a PC will never have format problems, etc which is why its the best option for playing media on a tv.

The usb and ethernet are only used for firmware updates on this model.

However you can change the model number through the service menu which then enables video playback and AllShare. Unless you're getting this tv for a steal rather look at one that supports DLNA natively.

Thx for the reply's.

So you can not even use a memory stick with movies on it, On this model?
