Hello all,

I am looking for an engineer to survey the current foundation and land.

I would like to add an extension above our current house (go double story) but i need some professional advise.

Can anyone recommend an engineer that will do this inspection and what is the estimated costs ?

I know a structural engineer that used to work on skyscrapers in Qatar, but that's probably not what you are looking for.

Surely a local builder will have contacts, or tell you if your plans are feasible. I assume you also need construction cost estimates?

Starting off with checking the current house and foundation and looking at options

After that will look for some builders if all is fine on the above
