Hi all,
I have another more specific thread but wanted to be more general in the new issue.
The laptop has internal fixed memory that the OS is on(C drive). It has a 2.5" regular drive which has the users profile and files on (D drive)
I wanted to initially move everything to a new SSD but with this laptop you can access the bios as a normal user it seems meaning I can't change the boot order etc.
So what I have done is I cloned the D drive onto an SSD, however when I then replace the D drive with the SSD it is unable to load the users profile, I'm a bit stuck, any advice?
