When I click on Upoload Photos I'm asked to register and sign in. I begin to comply and it auto fills in my forum nick and password, but when I hit Submit it squeals that it's invalid. Any suggestions? (printable only please )

That might fall under the 3month/50 post limit. Whichever takes you longer to get to.

Could also be the format(best is jpg) of the pics.

have you registered on the photo side? Your browser will autofill your details for the forum, but you still need to register on the photo side.
You should use the same nic and password then the autofill will work better

And Madmann88? Signed in to the main Forum already then went over to the Photo gallery and logged in again there, and still it insists my nick and password are invalid. Login problems? The only thing it shows is to delete Cookies which I did, and it didn't solve a thing. While it's certainly no trainsmash, you have to admit it's interesting?

Have you registered for the photo section is what I'm asking. It uses a separate authentication for quite a while now. It does not use the forum log in.
I registered there using the same info as the forum to keep things simple, but I still need to log in when I try and upload photo's.

It should be the same registration - to my best recollection I've never registered separately.

I definitely did. And I always have to log in there separately even when I have already logged into the forum.

That's the way the system is supposed to operate. IIRC they use different cookies though which is why you have to log on again, with the same credentials.

If you would like to modify your profile, click here. So next I'll try bwana's suggestion and get back to you.. Thanks...

My old man managed to upload the pic to the linkie you gave. It says that if it's not used within the hour it will be deleted? Aargh... It's 8.25pm and if you're not around we'll give it another shot another time. Thanks to everyone for the advice
