Does anyone know who's the main importers of studio equipment in SA? For instance studio lights, backdrops etc.

It would depend on what brand of studio equipment. I take it u arre not looking for Profoto... I'm currently interested in getting studio lights and found Ivok (www.ivok.co.za) in JHB to be the cheapest for Jinbei. They do backdrop stands as well.
