So I'm wondering if any1 has any experience with study visa's that might be able to give me some insight?
Myself and my girlfriend both left South Africa in March, I came to live in London (I am lucky enough to have a British passport) and she has gone to work in the Med as a chef on the yacht's. She is on a 2 year shengen visa.
To cut a long story short, we have come out with a rough plan, that she will finish her season at the end of October, and then will have enough money to study at a cooking school that she wants to go to in London, also allowing us to be together. So does any one have any idea how easy it is to get a study visa in the UK?
This might sound really shallow, but this long distance thing is hard enough as it is. If she can't obtain her study visa, she will go back to working on the yacht's untill her shengen visa runs out. She seems to think thats ok, but I am not OK with that. I am finding it hard to be in a relationship, where you only get to see the other person once a month. I kind of want to start making a decission as to where to go from here, if we can't be together in London. We really do love eachother, but this situation that we are in is kinda crap
So yeah, any one that might know anything about study visa's, please give your experience's/advice!
Thanks in advance.
