I'll be studying computer science soon at unisa, wondering, from people who have or is studying at unisa, any recommendations to how many modules should i do per semester? and how many modules must i do to complete the course?

I know it is a 3 year course but somewhere it states that i have 8 years to finish ?? Howcome?

If your working and have a family life then even 8yrs is too soon :)

I would say 5-6yrs is a realistic time for anybody to complete a BSc at UNISA. I'm in yr 4 and will finish in 24mths (midway through year 6). Did screw up with module selection so could have finished next year instead.

Personally I would say your going to be taking 4 1st level modules per semester, then on 2nd level modules you need to drop it down to 3 per semester and 3rd year you will continue 3 per semester. So at least 9 semesters (4,5yrs) if you don't fail anything and able to keep the momentum going.
