Stupid apps

Ok, not really, but utracestart fail to initialise and iconnect times out....

i set my ip for the iconnect. didn't help
don't know what to do with utracestar

any help with these little apps?? all i read in the posts is uber delphi bla bla bla

If you've set the proper IP's (and double checked it , you might want to try cycling the power on the UT

Thanks, i got iconnect goin. but utracestar still fails to start. still when i run the failed to iniliaze properly error. mmm?

I also get that on my laptop, but not on my PC.
Doesnt UTTracestar need .NET? Cause im shure that isnt on my laptop but is on my PC, you can checj that out if you want.

Also you know you have to be connected via USB.. doubt thats the problem, jys nie so onnosel nie nê?

Yes it does - I got caught out by this when i assumed my XP (SP2 i think) had .NET built in... alas it does not. Go to the link on the utTraceStar site to get the .NET update.

Ummm no.... you can connect utTraceStar through USB and Ethernet... i even have my linux router configured that i can run utTraceStar on any PC on the LAN and i can see the status...

Needs .net version 1.1 not the one xp sp2 comes with!

Also works on USB or Ethernet or linux routers.

Same problem with my laptop that doesnt have .net. Works fine with my PC as i said.

Thanks. I got it and it works now. I should probably start reading more before downloading. Saw that it was mentioned on the site. My bad. Thanks for every1's help.

BTW, my signal sucks. I average like -94 Keeps saying signals from space is better. Oh, well, maybe I'll meet ET someday.

First of all, sorry for doubleposting.

My UtraceStar fails to load now...? it says it can't find the connection and wants to run the wizard which still doesn't help much. This is confusing me as it was working just fine...

Anyone knows why this is happening and how to correct it?

Are you using the ethernet connection now - instead of the USB?? in which case RTFM!! If not then i suggest you give us more details about your setup - and also what did you change?
