So I phoned mweb, asked them about the their Free Local only limited trial promotion thing, and they said it's valid for new clients as well... So I joined up... I explicitly asked the sales consultant if the 1GB Cap Package for R145.00 allows concurrent connections, and he said YES!

So after signing up, I logged into the online mweb account console, only to see the following:

CONCURRENT CONNECTIONS ALLOWED: [ 1 ]

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!! Are these people stupid? How can they give false information to customers?

Then another thing I noticed...

The Out of Package Usage options

There are 2,charge by MB(20c) or booster packs. There are only 2 options, lets say I don;t want either, where the hell do I set that?

It's currently on Pay Per MB [ 20c/MB ], sign!

Did you ask them to specify how many concurrent connections are allowed?

Lets face it - this is SA - they'd have to be idiots to allow more than one connection at a time on an uncapped account.

No, I asked him if concurrent connections on the account is allowed, concurrent meaning more than one? He said yes, multiple users can connect with the account, but only 1 can download?lol, wtf?

A concurrent connection is the number of connections that you can make at the same time from different locations. Click Change below to limit the number of concurrent connections for added security.
| CHANGE |
Considered pressing the blue |change| button?
Also, set it to Buy booster (Boost Per GB). It won't automatically buy a booster, you need to actually click |buy| to get a booster*. The out of bundle 20c/MB is automatic I think.

*EDIT: You have to set "Option 1: Auto-Booster" to disabled if you don't want it to automatically buy boosters.

Do any 1 know when they will stop the local usage??? Im keen on getting a account for myself but if they just like end it the next month its pretty much pointless. R145 is kinda robbery if you think about it. For 384kbs users I dont think its really worth it?
