Stupid ping!

Just a rant:

In a fit of boredom I re-loaded BF4. 6 games in a row I get kicked for high ping! Then I get dropped because I'm missing a map in the rotation..lol. So I did the logical thing and uninstalled BF4.
Ping is above 170, 20Mb fibre line.

Has nothing to do with EA, BF4 servers are run by community members so it's up to the server admin what goes.

170 sounds like you connecting to German servers, they kicked me for 170 from CPT there was a local server which was very populated over the weekend based in JHB some people had 1 ping, i had 20 from CPT, played on it most of Sunday.

The local servers are all empty...well at least the ingame ones. I dunno if theres a defferent way to access other servers.

Feel free to explain? I start the game, select all servers, order by ping...lowest populated server is European with a ping over 170ms?

I installed BF4 a while back and noted all local servers were over 200 ping but the BF1, BFV etc were all around 50ms, is that still the case?

As far as I remember the ping for SA server Bf4 was very low, just they were empty.
I don't play BFV and BF1 I just played international servers. There were 2 cheaters on last night, but I guess that's just par for the course.
