I'v got a 16port 10/100 switch. Dozen or so pc's connected to i (including a Win2003 Server)

I want to use a palm or pocket pc to run a Dos based point of sale wirelessly.

I'm guessnig they support Wireless connections?

What hardware do i need to attach to my switch to allow wireless access into the network?

connect any wifi compliant Wireless Access Point to the switch via a UTP cable.

I'm assuming your handheld device is wifi compliant

Hi there

Maybe you will be able to help me too. I'm with Wireless Online. (WISP). I have a router installed on my roof next to my antenna.

What I want to do know is to share my internet connection with my Notebook (Wifi). What do I need?

Thanks m8

The router you have is it wireless ?

If it is all you need is to set up the connection.

Not wireless:

Option 1:
Buy a wireless Router. (If Pc is off the laptop will still be able to connect to the internet)

Option 2:
Buy a wireless card for your PC and allow sharing through that. (this means only when the pc is on will the laptop be able to connect to the internet)
