+1 for Adonit!

I have the Jot Flip (other side is a real pen with ink), and a Jot Script "Evernote" edition.

Both has it strong points. For precise drawings / tech drawings, take the Jot Flip or Pro, for note taking (writing) use the Script.

The first 2 doesn't have batteries, and work with all touch screens that your finger work, the negative would be your wrist make sometimes small marks as you press against screen).
The script use batteries, and software on the tablet (Bluetooth). So you get a very good writing experience, and your wrist doesn't make mark as you write on a tablet. (Software eliminates this).
(there is this small delay from the time you pass over the glass, till the actual line can be seen)

But after going through 11 types and good brands Adonit was the best. The best would be the stylus coming with device (Samsung Note, Microsoft tablet etc.)
