Took delivery of the Diesel this afternoon.

What a beauty! Incredibly quiet, and the run from Durban home has shown her to be VERY economical according to the trip computer which was dead accurate in my 2.5.

Pics and consumption figures will follow.:D

I'm considering getting the new STI....will be me 4th scooby, but eish....R500k :(
 
Guys, he's working at Subaru Durban now. It's a company vehicle. Even Fazda wouldn't be buying cars at the rate he's been going through these latest Scoobies!

BUT for a mere R379 you could be sitting in a WRX which is actually a better buy than the Sti...basically the same car with 17" wheels and a 5 speed box, and "only" 195kw as against 221kw and a 6 speed box...My "Pick of the bunch".

R399 before discount, and on the road to you...;)

@Pox - you don't know me well enough...we are possibly the only dealer in the country who will scrap on the road fee, PLUS throw in a discount that will nullify initial loss on a new car....
 
I'd still take an S3 at R460k just for the fact that the new WRX (and STI, obviously) look like (_|_). I used to be a fan, until the new ones came out :(

Have you see the MY2011 WRX and STi? Much, much nicer looking. Like a performance Scooby should- loud, brash and in-your-face.
 
Even the purists in the scooby club (of which I'm part of) like the new sedan; its a massive improvement from the hatch.

Fazda, what sort of discount are we talking about on the sti ??? Come on, throw me a bone....for the right price I'll drive down to pick it up :D
Take an 06 sti as trade in ?

The sedans? Definitely an improvement but still looks all "unicorn" with that rounded face. If only mitsubishi still sold the evo here :(

P.S. According to Subaru site, STI's are free in SA ;)
