So I've always loved and now have my heart set on a new Subaru XV 2.0i Manual for around 320K.
I'm looking for other options I may have missed or overlooked.
New or Used: New (Demo will be considered)
Purpose: Commute (50km round trip) + weekend trips for Mountain biking and camping etc
Price: < 320K
Pros:
Love the styling.
4x4 and Drives really well.
5yr Maintenance plan (not just service plan)
Okish fuel economy ~8l/100
Cons:
Relatively small boot.
Not going to win any drag races.
Okish fuel economy ~8l/100
Doesn't come with all the little gadgets you find on other new cars (but I don't really need park assist or rear mounted camera or heated seats and massaging arm rests etc.)
My other option is Focus 1.5 eco boost which comes with quite a bit of Kit but I don't feel anything towards it..
I've also considered
Ford Ranger 2.2 (close on budget but really lacks any interior refinement even compared to the Subaru and only 4x2),
Kuga (Budget),
Qashqai (Budget and tiny engine),
Juke (looks horrible)
