All,

Is there anyway to get a list of any services that may have been enabled on your number. I am on prepaid to avoid the shark so checking my itemized billing is not an option.

This chain of thought started when I got an automatic call from 0110623540 (prerecorded voice), some searches on Google say answering this number signs you up for a subscription service.

Need to make sure.

Oh you mean that MobiCall place?

Ironic that if you want to avoid the subscription service shark on CellC, its best to be on ControlChat contracts as CellC does not allow any WASP, including themselves, to bill against this airtime. Its only when you topup can your phone be billed :)

But if you really want to protect yourself then rather move to Vodacom as they have a proper double opt in system and also allow you to unsubscribe from any WASP service through their internet customer portal. None of the other networks allow this.

I think I should go and also check if I am not subscribed to anything.

I had a missed call from this 011 number. When I call it, its WASP's number about their product offerings (worried they took down my phone number to bill).
