Suburban WAN

Hi

I'd like to find out about installing a public WAN in a suburb of some 1000 households. I understand that this is being (has been?) done in Stellenbosch. Where do I go with this idea?

I assume you are looking to set up some connectivity between different households.
What is the aim? to give Internet access or share info amongst households?

If you are going to put in cable or wireless masts you are going to have to talk to the local municipal authorities.
