Successfully Not Migrated

Their migration will be as successful as a troup of wildebeest crossing the Serengeti being chased by a pack of lions. Migrated but disillusioned as bandwidth is just messed up. Now capped and not a happy camper.

Don't know about you guys. But these new Packages doesn't work for me.

Infact i can't see these packages benefiting any of the GIGA users.


I want my account changed back.

iBurst have gone on record that after 3 months you will be able to do that.

What's prolly happening now is that staff have all gone on leave and iBurst is screwed up.

I'm still on my old account.
 
Yep, still on my old account on Mweb side. On iburst side I am on the new package. So Mweb is messing up this time.

I get this when I try to access my iBurst stats:

Spoke to Gcebile. My details reflect as wireless 5 on iburst side. Mweb hasnt updated their systems yet and I am still waiting for Mweb to get back to me.

I could get in with the pin details just now, but still see the old records.

Ok, I did this too. The wording MWEB use makes it sound like you are purchasing a booster, not logging. Same thing - same old.

MWEB clients have been migrated, Mweb has been advised to refresh their system to enable you guys to view the new packages on your profiles on our websites.

I will follow up with Mweb tomorrow when i get back to the office, i am currently on sick leave.

Still on old package according to MWEB. iBurst has me on the new package now according to the MWEB support person who phoned them. That sucks.

It seems that MWEB will probably switch us over in the New Year - it's probably TOO much effort to flip a few switches for some people. Obviously most staff at MW and iB will be on Xmas Leave.

I guess they want us to buy BOOSTERS for R199 instead of R39 till the end of the year.
 
Ok, iBurst contacted me by phone. I've finally been migrated.

MWEB site still reflects the old b/w but I was told that I'd have the full allocation.
Also it seems that boosters will only be purchasable from January at the new cheaper rate.

Some people have still not been migrated I was told.
 
Mweb still reflects my old details as well. and I am going to be charged the old iburst rate as well. Its only R5 but still... I really have to start looking for another ISP, mweb service delivery isnt exactly the best out there and Im sure I can do better.
