Magnussen, Hulkenberg clash in TV interview
Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen angrily clashed during live post-race interviews with television crews in a media pen after the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday.
German Hulkenberg broke into Dane Magnussen's interview to praise him ironically as "once again the most unsporting driver", following an on-track clash during the race.
The Dane responded by saying: "Suck my balls, honey."
Hulkenberg walked away without further comment, but later told NBC that he intended to report Magnussen to the race stewards for his behaviour.
During the race, Magnussen, in his Haas car, had forced Hulkenberg to steer his Renault off track and across a run-off area by the barriers.
"I congratulated him for being the most un-sporting driver of the whole grid once again," said Hulkenberg.
"When it comes to racing, he's just nasty. Hard defending is fine, but when he does this, it's just ruthless and sending people into the wall.
"What he did there, opening up the steering, making me run wide, it's just being an arsehole basically.
"We had really nice words, he said 'suck my balls' - that was his return. So, it's quite interesting with him..."
He added: "I'll go and speak to Charlie (Whiting, the race director)."
Magnussen was given a five-second penalty for the incident.
Hulkenberg added: "I hear he got a bit of a penalty, five seconds, but in his mind he won't care about that too much."
Hulkenberg was involved in another incident with a Haas driver, as he had a minor collision with Frenchman Romain Grosjean at the start of the race.
The stewards investigated, but said it was a racing incident and took no further action despite protestations from the American team's drivers.
Having seen that incident, Magnussen told his team: "If you can do what Hulkenberg did to Romain, then it's going to be a dirty race."
