Nope.

Seems like you will need to email Buys. [email protected] of http://www.buys.co.za/
Seems Telkom has changed gear. It would be a pity if Buys takes the case as he has done some good work for IT in SA. Click on Buy's IT Law Blog. It has all the current news. The latest being the one how "FXI slams Telkom over Hellkom". Here is the link.http://buysinc.blogspot.com/ So much for Freedom of Speech in SA. Permanent Link. http://buysinc.blogspot.com/2004/08/fxi-slams-telkom-over-hellkom.html Posted by Reinhardt Buys himself.
One wonders what the heck is going on in SA?

It truly is sad when a company supporting industries in SA turn their back on the people who make the industries possible.

Gooku to MaD

There is a problem with your mailbox or my mailbox or both of our e-mailbox are being blocked

"When trying to deliver your message, the mail server at flashmail.com encountered
problems with the following addresses:

For <[email protected]>, Site (hellkom.co.za/213.133.104.99) said: 554 sorry, your envelope sender is in my badmailfrom list (#5.7.1)

They cut off our communication, the is a sign of cyberWar

Gooku,

Please stop using "Gooku to <whoever>", it is implied by just putting the name of the person to whom you are responding at the top of your post.

Second, it probably isn't a sign of any kind of bad behaveour on the part of MaD's ISP, but simply some confusion with the bad sender blacklist on his mail server. You might want to check the address you are sending from, or machine, you are sending from. It could also be related to the domain in which you have your e-mail address. Some domains are used so extensively for spamming that very busy mail servers will always block them, to try and stem the tide. These include yahoo.com, hotmail.com web<anything>.<anything>, etc.

I don't see how the blog by R Buys indicates that they are taking on the case. It's just a summary of what happened, without further comment. Seems quite professional and neutral really.

I hope this statement from hellkom.co.za was not prompted by the blog.If you read the blogs more carefully you'll see they are all just basic summaries of news, not only stuff happening at the company.

Now here's something to give all laywers grey hairs:

The list goes on. You can type anything you like. [:D]

You know what? F**k Telkom!
The time for putting up with this monopolistic **** is over.

A little maths...

Telkom's net profit increased 177.5% (2003: 33.5%) to R4,523 million (2003: R1,630 million) in the year ended March 31, 2004.
Divide R4 523 000 000 by 365 (number of days in the year) = R12 391 780.822
Divide that by 24 (number of hours in a day) = R516 324.201 profit per hour

There is a link to www.%66%75%63%6B%74%65%6C%6B%6F%6D.co.za (www.f**ktelkom.co.za) registered to Shaun Dewberry. [:o)]

I'd love to see Mr Stander explain this one at a partners' meeting [}:)]

Yup and Shaun has NOTHING to do with Gregg - so bango - TelScum's screwed - go on you 500 pound thickhead dumbass gorilla - start another action against Shaun - and when your's done you may as well inform your attorney's to open another one cause I'll go and register telkomisabunchoff*ckingidiots.co.za - and I'll show my buddy & my neighbour and the gardner for that matter how each of them register their own personall defamatory version of TELKOM...

which will all point to Gregg's orginal hellkom HTML code hosted in the States so actually Telkom can **** right off - I would like to see them get a US judge to order a ISP to kill the hosting - oh yeah even if they get that right - well we'll host the HTML in another country and another and another --- you get the idea...

Well put, ASF
hehehehe

I've had great fun today pointing out the difference between the Telkom logo and the Hellkom logo.

Basically the Telkom logo is boring and the slogan "Touching Tomorrow" is essentially meaningless. The Hellkom logo on the other hand is funny, and the slogan is essentially true. I also found a brilliant Zapiro cartoon about Telkom's greed.

(End of shameless web site promotion)
