Read an article last night about how to preserve herbs.
Maybe y'all knew this, but I liked their tip of making herbal salts and herbal sugars.
SALTS
You simply wash and dry the herbs (e.g. oregano, rosemary, basil, parsley), chop them fiinely, and for every 1 cup of herbs, add 2 cups of sea salt and 1/2 teaspoon of lime/lemon zest and blend together.
SUGARS
Same method as above, but use white or brown sugar. Leave out the lime/lemon zest and use herbs such as mint and lavender.
