Suggest me a laptop

Hello all,
Could anyone here suggest me a laptop my budget is R3700
I found one one so far here are its specs. Could I get anything better with my budget?

It doesnt really matter I just need a laptop in my price range
 
What is the purpose of the laptop?

What brand is that? Stick to the usuals. Dell probably the best in terms of warranty.
Those specs are good for R3700. Maybe just add another 4GB RAM at a later stage.
 
Well the ram was worrying me is there anything better on the market the laptop is for home use casual gaming maybe
 
Well at R3700 there are not a lot of options really. There are only a handful and are all pretty similarly specced. Have you looked at the 2nd hand market?

Gaming is not going to happen on a laptop in that price range i am afraid.
 
I also think going secondhand would be a good idea for the OP. If he can find a laptop that's still under warranty, even better.
 
Perhaps try go for a newer gen Core i3?

Otherwise once you bump the RAM to 4GB+ it'll be a good laptop for general office/home use.
 
Keep your eyes on the second hand market, there are bargains to be had. I picked up two laptops for R3,300 each, an HP Elitebook 8560p and a Lenovo T520. Both have core i5 2540, 1600 x 900 res screen, 8GB RAM, USB 3.0, bluetooth, fingerprint reader etc, the Lenovo even had a 160GB SSD in it. I got both from Cash converters, every now and then they get laptop pricing completely wrong so it's worth a look.

Note: Most laptops from Cash Converters are hideously overpriced and in average nick, make sure you go through all of them and test things out.
