Suggestions - Customer Relations Database?

I am looking to implement a Customer Relations Database at our company here in Johannesburg and then link it to our branch in Durban and Cape Town. I am basically the only IT guy here, and even then, my knowledge is extremely limited. I am by no means a programmer, but have some fairly useful knowledge of Windows, networking and hardware. I need something simple to manage our company's database of customers and sales.
Does anyone have any useful suggestions or experience with any software local or not, that can do the job for us?
Also any tips on capturing the data and getting the info we need from the customers themselves.
This is our current website... obviously extremely limited. We hope to expand on that as well...
