Suggestions for connecting in Edenvale pse - no ADSL

Family of mine in Edenvale have had a dreadful connection over the past few years. Tried CW and WA but their ADSL has now come to a shuddering stop.

They have copper cable and say that's the problem. Fiber is not available.

Can anyone suggest a reliable way for them to connect - gaming, streaming etc. about 50 gig per month.

Their fear is signing a contract and being locked into a service if it doesn't work but I'll suggest they ask for a trial.
