Hi all,

I have an oldish house (30+ years) which came with these taps:

I'd like to replace them with something new - including a mixer. But I've since found out that the two connecting pipes are 180mm from center to center, while all new ones are 150mm.

As you can see the pipes in the wall are even further apart.

Any suggestions? Without having to redo the whole bathroom? I don't have any extra tiles.

take the taps off the elbows at the big nuts and see how far they swivel in ,those bends coming out of the wall turn in for adjustment ,you also get different bends to accomodate the smaller mixers .you may have to reseal the bendy pipes with ptfe tape again after moving them ,so get some hessian for the threads and ptfe tape if needed before starting .
