Hi Guys
I don't know how many of you have discovered or stumbled upon the Kickstarter website, but it is a great website where people needing funds for cool things (like games) can ask for a certain amount of funds. When they receive these funds they can then go ahead and work on their project.
To those who are new, it works like this. You can decide how much you want to pledge to a specific project, with each project having some kind of rewards depending on how much you pledge. Lets say, for example, they ask for $100 000. They then have a certain period of time in which to collect this amount (say 30 days). You then pledge an amount towards this project ($20 for example). The amount you pledge, however, will only be deducted if the project funding is successful (in other words, reached their $100 000 goal in the time limit). So, if the project funding doesn't make it, you don't lose any money.
Now, the game I want you guys to have a look at, and maybe pledge towards if you feel like doing so, is Sui Generis. The link to the Kickstarter page: Sui Generis Kickstarter
Ignore the tagline of GTA meets Morrowind, which they really need to change, and instead watch a few of the videos. This will give you a great idea of what the game is, how it looks and plays, and it looks great!
Currently this game only has about 60hours left to reach is £150 000 goal. Currently they are at about ~ £110 000. A lot of the backers have already doubled their pledge amounts to see this game happen, I did the same (increased my pledge from £20 to £40).
If any of you guys like what you see, please pledge. I would love to see this game get made, it is something completely different from the norm and the all the usual AAA gaming drivel that gets sent our way.
Thanks for reading and I hope some of you help these guys out.
