ronaldo is not going anywhere, thats what you call selling newspapers

we know it, united know, it fergie knows but there are still ppl who believe it :)
 
The guy hasnt come straight out and said his staying, keeps on going on about "who knows,I dont know....."
so hence if there is smoke there is fire, Fergie is critising RealM for the way they going after him, so I think his scared in that regard.

I think at the end of the day ronaldo knows this is the best year he will ever have and the best market price his ever going to be sold at, so if he leaves it wouldnt suprise me.
 
I heard on kfm this morning that ronaldo has said that he will decide in two weeks time where he will be playing.Real want him bad...the last player they wanted this badly was zidane.
 
Mancini sacked and Mourinho taking over at Inter. Not confirmed by the club yet but its a 100% done deal. The entire press of Italy is reporting this. Just happened this afternoon.

Resigning after lfc, losing the super coppa and the coppa italia. Nearly throwing away an 11 point lead, only ibrahimovic coming from the bench in the last 30 minutes of the season stopped that.

He had also lost the support of the big name players in the squad. The likes of viera,figo,ibrahimovic,materrazi and crespo didn't get along with him anymore.

Mancini has done well in his time but he had taken the team as far as he can it was time for a change.

A few points:

Man United dont have an academy worth mentioning.

The club with the best academy for as long as i can remember is FC Barcelona, no other club comes close. In their first team at the moment, they have 7 players that came from the academy. Thats players on the field and not in the squad.

@ cashmoney - Nasri going to Arsenal, what a signing! The gunners can be happy over that amazing signing.

Mourinho was tipped to take over at the first big club that opened up. It was between Barcelona, Inter Milan and even Real Madrid for a little while.

He will bring Drogba and Lampard over to Inter if he gets the job.

I have a theory on the Ronaldo saga. I sometimes think that he is milking this cow for all its worth, to get a pay rise at Man United. Basically telling them, if u dont want me to leave, then pay me more.

Problem with that is that his wages are pretty much fixed, and Man United are strict when it comes to wage negotiations. No player has ever got a drastic wage increase because of one outstanding season, contract extension yes, but a drastic pay rise. NO!

So thats his dilema, personally i hope he stays at Man United. Dont fancy the chap.

you have just had your most amazing season ever, won alot of awards

i can tell you now another 20k a week aint on his mind

I dont think it's about money, it's about getting recognition. It's a well known fact that players from Spain and italy are rated higher by UEFA when it comes to handing out player of the year awards.
Real madrid would represent a new challenge for him, they are after all the biggest and most succesfull club in Europe. I dont think he will be able to turn Madrid down, United is a big club but Real is bigger.

Don't have an academy worth mentioning? Clearly you don't know anything about the club. Scores of players that are now playing in the EPL came from Man Utd's youth system. I do not need to go through the entire list.

I heard that Mourinho is busy signing or has signed a 3 year deal with Inter.

He has signed but it hasn't been announced officially. He is expected to be presented to the media on Thursday or Friday.

I would've liked to see him coach a team like Liverpool and see what he can do for them. A 4-way title race would be excellent.

What year was that? Early 90's?

What players have come out of their academy over the last decade that deserves a mention?
