I saw him play against United in the game that we lost 3-1, when he was great and Fergie decided to buy him.
Either way, he was a raw talent that needed refining. He was no superstar. It is no coincidence that that only happened under Fergie and at United.

He was very raw and needed a lot of refining, just like Nani this season. A lot of promise and talent but nowhere near a superstar. Nowhere near.
