Chievo In Shock Swoop For Wonderkid Kerlon

The 20-year-old is rated as one of Brazil’s most promising players, and he has become famous for his “seal dribble” where he runs past opponents with the ball glued to his forehead, thus making it almost impossible for him to be tackled.

It was reported at the weekend that Chievo were in negotiations to sign the prodigious youngster, and now the deal has been officially completed.

Kerlon becomes Chievo’s third signing today, follow the capture Mauro Esposito and Santiago Morero, and this transfer is likely to turn many heads in the Calcio community.

The forward is still working his way back to fitness and form at the moment after he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in March 2007.

The pint-sized Kerlon has yet to play for the Brazilian national team, but he has represented his country at Under-15 level right up to Under-20, and is tipped by many as a big star of the future.

Crazy day today. Man City seem to be involved in wanting to buy all the strikers available!

Hehe, they raising the prices nicely!

Its going down to the last minute with the Berbatov deal.

Berbatov is apparently having a medical at united. What a bunch of hypocrites, they havnt been given permission by spurs to even talk to him yet they giving him a medical.

Real marid not once spoke to Ronaldo in the whole saga, the only thing they did was confirm they would be happy to have him.

They have always been like that, they pretend they have the right to do what they want because they are THE TEAM...

So far:

In: Blackburn (Bunn), Everton (Saha), Liverpool (Flora, Gulacsi, Riera), Newcastle (Gonzalez), Portsmouth (Belhadj), Tottenham (Pavlyuchenko, Corluka), West Brom (Donk)

Out: Bolton (Dzemaili), Fulham (Zakuani, John), Liverpool (Finnan, Voronin), Man City (Corluka, Vidal), Man Utd (Saha), Stoke (Parkin), Wigan (Bouaouzan)

I don't think Saha was the greatest buy for Everton considering his injury record.

Doesn't this leave United even weaker up front now?

Spurs are now by far the biggest spenders in the EPL afaik. It just goes to show you that money doesn't buy good performances.

With a bit of time to gel, you'd expect them to do well considering the quality players they have.

Im suprised Saha passed a medical lol :p

United are pretty weak up front with only tevez who can actually score goals week in/out.

Makes me laugh looking at all the manure fans now going on about berbatov not long ago they were arguing with us how good rooney is, yet we kept telling them his crap.

Where is the Rooney love now lol

Was on sky news "breaking news ticker" but now its been removed. That will teach me to listen to what skynews has to say! lol

His at manchester stadium at the moment though.

On other news:
Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon on Spanish television station VEO: "We have agreed to sell the player for human reasons, for footballing reasons and for an important quantity of money."

Looks like Robinho is on his way to man city.

Even if United signed him there will be controversy because Spurs havent given permission to United to talk to him...:(

They cant sign him unless spurs agree a transfer fee.Remember his still under contract with spurs.

Yeah but Spurs can still agree a deal, and thereafter bitch and moan. They have been moaning about this issue since June IIRC...
