Accomodation is always fully booked months in advance, so my question is: is it worthwhile to drive through on Saturday or Sunday, and drive back afterwards? Has anyone done it recently, and what can I expect in terms of traffic? If I have to sit in 2+ hours of traffic, it will probably ruin my mood, so just asking.
