Hi Guys

I never watch Soccer, now this is what I have to say about the game.

1. I had to put the sounds off because of the irritating Vuvuzelas.
2. After the game the organizers streamed to the podium in such a mess, the players from Barcelona never went on such a mess it was. It really sickened me.

Now pls tell me how is the World cup gona look in 2010 ?

The post match presentation was a sick thing to watch I feel so embarrassed.

Then it was said it’s because they had to catch a flight.... BS. I’ll also just go and shower instead of being part of that monkey show.

What did you think about the game itself? I thought Sundowns played brilliantly. They didn't deserve to lose.

Well i guess the world cup in 2010 is gonna look even messier and i LOVE IT...Hey thats just South Africa man.

I thought the match started at 20:30, so I was buggering around here. Go to the lounge and turned on the telly at 20:25, and see that Surprise has already scored a goal! I was really hoping they'd be able to hold on till the end.

The vuvuzelas, I guess that comes down to personal taste. Me, I love that SA soccer has a unique sound. I thought that last night's crowd looked fantastic and sounded great.

Though, Pitbull I agree with some of what you're saying about what happened after the match. Poor little Ronaldinho, looked like half the people there wanted to be in a photo with him, or paw him.

You arm chair critics, couch potatoes, lazy bums should have been at the stadium. You wouldn't have seen the presentation mess in the end. The atmosphere was electric and now I can't wait for 2010. There were a lot more people of other races and that just goes to show that soccer is the no1 sport in the country and it's not just for black people...
@Pitbull, don't be unreasonable man, we are taking baby steps here and we can't expect everything to be 100% perfect the first time. 2010 is gonna be great..

The game was a typical exhibition match and not much can be read from the result. Barca could have walloped Sundowns had the stakes been higher. They showed after they uped the pace and scored two quick goals and then kept possession that they are at least 5 classes above Sundowns. However Sundowns were a marvel to watch in the first half. I was impressed most with Vuyo Mere and Esrom Nyandoro. Mbulelo Mabizela also showed some glimpses of the Old John that impressed Tottenham a few years back...My prediction is that he will be captaining Sundowns soon (If he can learn to lay off the weed :D)

Agh Why The hell must you be negative? There was nothing wrong with the game, as for the organising it was a huge game for SA the Barca players knew it!!!

I enjoyed it, im glad the allowed Vuvuzelas!

We dont need to stupid negative comments.U dont watch soccer hence u dont have a clue what u talking about.Rather go watch Rugby or cricket.

I love the Vuvuzelas. Most non-South Africans who were seating by me were having a good time. My thoughts are:

1. We need to have signs to guide people where they suppose to go, seat, etc.

2. We need to start teaching people what seat numbers mean. We must have marshals for every 5 rows checking tickets, sorting confusions and controlling traffic of people.

3. We need dividing barriers at least 20m to the gate entrance to force people to queue.

I'm sure most of these issues will be dealt with by 2010. However, the sooner we educate spectators, the better.

I really enjoyed the game and atmosphere was great! Sundowns played great football in first half. With better finishing, they could have scored more goals. I knew that once Barcelona settled in the 2nd half, they would come back.

We must play that Mark Pilgrim's wake up call joke on Pitbull.. We sneak into his bedroom at 4 am and blow vuvuzelas at a count of three...:D That should teach him a lesson...:D

whahahaha

vuvuzela's are a south african thing and i love the sound of them, okes blow on them all game and that aint easy

From the few minutes I saw on tv, the atmosphere was awesome! I love the non stop cacophony of the vuvuzelas. Still think we should host a Tri-nations rugby match at FNB stadium, get 20000 guys in with vuvuzelas, and watch the opposition fall apart...

At least it's something that has happened and we will be learning from it. From the 'sit where u want' tickets to the bribes at the gates etc. These will surely be taken into account for 2010. Rather make the mistake now than during the WC. It was also the PSL who organised it not the LOC.

The game was ok. Thought Barca didn't play 100% as it's a friendly. Pity for Sundowns who came out and started to defend their lead and lost it.
