LOL.....the iPhone 4S display is made by Toshiba. They have never been anywhere near the forefront of screen technology.

Enough said.

So...
There is ZERO pixilation on the display!, sure its small compared to the s2 but its the right size for me.
Which of the other phone displays have a PPI of 326 or higher?

The Nexus uses a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Think it's the first 4.65'' display on a mobile phone with that high resolution.

It will be a fantastic phone to own and use, enjoy!

However, few things that I miss....no SD card slot, no FM Radio (I am actually using this a lot lately) and a poorer camera.

I don't really care about the SD card or FM Radio. 16 Gig is enough for me.

Galaxy nexus also uses a less beefy graphics processor which is a bit worrying.

Most OS stuff on Android was rendered on the CPU rather than the GPU in anycase. Unless you are a hardcore gamer you won't notice the difference. Even if you are you might still not.

If the Galaxy Nexus's display was 3.5'', it would be 419ppi.

Steve Jobs (may he R.I.P) said that nobody would want to use a display bigger than 3.5'' on a phone & my best guess is that nobody at Apple was brave enough to tell him that he is wrong.

Expect the iPhone 5 to have at least a 4'' display, 3.5'' just doesn't cut it anymore & the reason why it's now only being used on midrange/lower end phones. Even Nokia got in on the act and released the Lumia 800/N9 with a 3.9'' display.

More is more.

Size Queen! :p

How pixelated are these screens? I'm using an iPhone 4 and don't think I'd be able to go to a screen where I can the pixels no matter how much larger it is.

Watch the embedded video and see for yourself. ;)

Those displays are both 4.3'', but the one on the left has a 480 X 800 res, while the one on the right has 560 X 960 res.

I know you're showing some respect to the guy but Steve Jobs didn't invent so much as toilet paper. He's not a legend and will never be, for me anyway. So to me he's just like any dude Oh, what/who's Nokia? I can't remember coz they um... suck. And their phones are no longer superior, In terms of quality and value for money they're behind Samsung, HTC, Asus, Motorola, even iPhone 4 S with half the RAM kicks Nokia's ass.
The only reason why they're using a 3.9" display is because it's cheaper and then have the nerve to overcharge. Why would I spend R4900+ on a sub par phone when I can buy a Galaxy S II or a Sensation? What am I paying for?

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S II. 1.452 Ghz, MIUI, Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.

Steve Jobs dragged Apple Inc out of near bankruptcy and made it the company it is today.

For that he'll always have my respect.

And his most famous quote : Because the people who think they are crazy enough to change the world are the ones who do.
