I hope it is FREE ? Like a Trial or something

I use Easynews and regularly get full line speeds. The only hitch is that they wont work when international has run out.

I use Giganews (diamond Package), easily maxes out the line no worries. Thats with only 10 threads on SSL... my brother in London gets just under 2mB/s on his 24mb ADSL from giganews.

Pure Text transfers are the highest speeds your computer can attain, faster than binary or anything else. These text articles will then be decoded on your computer.

Sweet :D

guys you dont get it , my transfer rate on grabit was like 5036kb/s and nothing less than 4000kb/s on grabit

Telkom 4 Mb/s = 4 Megabits per second (not Megabytes per second).

That is equal to the plus/minus 400 Kb/s maximum transfer rate you sometimes see.

It is not unusual to sometimes spike up to 800 kb/s .. but not 4000 kb/s

Can you get us a screen shot?

Let me know what line you were using so I can move this thread to the appropriate sections cos that sure wasnt on an ADSL line - at least not here in SA. ;)

Sure you'll get good speeds on international news servers. You have to pay for it and it uses international cap.
