Hi Fellow Forumites

With Wizzywig offline and Super Rugby starting, I'm looking for a reliable way of getting streaming sport. I've cut Multichoice out of my life and I'm living on Netflix, Hulu and other steaming services, but sport remains a problem. Any ideas?

That is what DSTV is for...sport. Everybody is quick to tell all and sundry how crap DSTV is and to cancel, but then they moan about sport coverage.

Wait rugby is starting...gotta go.

Get an Android media player like the MXIII. Was just watching the Cheetahs and Stormers games today. No need for DSTV.

Sure, but I only watch SS1 and SS2 on DSTV, that is almost R400 pm per channel.

Not worth it, will only pay R100 per channel for those channels.

Agreed, total rip off

You can use livestream, but it only shows the next day...not really live now is it.

There are quite a few sites from which you can stream live rugby and i mean live. Yesterdays stormers game started at 7pm and that was the time we watched. (Stormers jou lekker ding):D
Once you have XBMC loaded you can add services like xunity or fusion. From these sources you can search for sports channels like skysports, sportsdevil etc. If one channel buffers too much then switch to another channel. There are usually several you can select from. Obviously the speed of your line plays a role if you want to watch in hd.

I normally post a streaming link to the games I watch prior to the game starts in the Super Rugby thread. You can just use those :p

Care to explain how a mediaplayer can let you watch Super rugby?

Most feeds are SuperSport being broadcast in different regions like the Skysport one. It's a Supersport feed broadcast on Skysport. You just stream a Skysport live stream and bam :p
