SUPER THROTTLE

I have been with iburst for almost 2 years and i can honestly say i have really been happy!

i haven't experienced the problems of the average iburst user! (excuse the random dashboard)

i thought i was special!!!

i have had 92-100% connection with really good speeds (in cap) anything from 200kbs - 900+kbs and decent throttle speeds, i have recieved alot of free data from iburst. thank you!

but this month i felt throttled in cap!!!
and throttle speeds feel like i am being strangled - not fun!

Have you tried restarting your setup (modem, router, pc, etc) recently. You may have been accidentally provisioned to the throttled profile.

Also - I suggest you at least give us an indication of where you are located.

my cap is up so i am currently throttled.

but i did try all of the above!

You are testing to a speedtest server in Gaborone Adequate peering does not exist between South Africa and its neighbouring countries... your traffic probably went half way round the world to get to that server!

joburg and gaborone server are close together obviously clicked by mistake>

this seems more normal for throttle speed.

just feels really slow.

suppose i cant complain it is free bandwidth after all.

I think I am missing something as those speeds look normal for when you are capped...?
