I don't like gridiron, as it's too slow but I'll back the underdogs which is Arizona.

Won't be much in it though. 1 touchdown difference :D

The majority of nfl fans ( excepting Steeler fans) are backing Arizona to win. I suspect it will come down to the final drive which will end in a field goal.

I don't know if I have the strength to watch it live though.

NBA basketball has been killing my sleeping patterns as it is :D

Off-topic: Baseball and basketball are actually my favourite American sports. Not that have a team allegiance in basketball. Long suffering NY Yankees fan though :(

Coin Toss just happend and Arizona won the toss and have made Pittsburg put their offense on the field first.

Steelers look like they are going to runaway with this game :( . The Steelers defense has done a good job of shutting out Larry Fitzgerald ( only 12 yards so far in the game)

Just watched the highlights. Great game, even though I don't know all the rules I'm really starting to get into American football

The rules are fairly simple, its pretty easy to pick up .
I suggest you join a fantasy football team , once the season starts again, that way you can keep track of individual players and learn the scoring rules at the same time and then you will eventually understand the game ( thats how I learnt).

+1, i picked up a lot last night. the two points given in the end zone:eek: i didnt know that.

brilliant game though, would have been better to see cardinals score right at the end.:(

you mean the safety?

Yeah Im disapointed that the Cards lost. Tbh the officiating in the game was terrible Steelers LB/De James Harrison should have been sent off for that punch and , they should have reviewed the last play of the game regardless of whether it went in favour of the Steelers or not.

Oh and Larry Fitzgerald is now the nfl's best wide reciever, he had simply an amazing post season performance.
