They hit me with a R2k bill in April... Questioned them they had no explanation....Now just to add to the madness.... I checked my invoices and realised...
drumroll...
I've been using them for 3 months now and haven't paid
There was no card details requested on sign-up, I received one invoice in month two and one in month three, with the invoice in month two having a credit note for month 1
So I've literally just paid now for the first time and nobody at Supersonic seems to be paying attention.
Crikey, it's time to bail.
You lucky to even get a response from them.... I try but they keep ignoring me or closing of the fault. How do they figure that? Did you perform any top-ups last month? What about actual usage? It should be easy to see how much you used of your monthly allocation last month and how much you didn't use - at the very least, the unused portion of last month's allocation should roll over.
I'm going to query mine too. There's no way they can tell me that happened with mine given I ran out of data twice in the month - the second time was only days before month end, and according to them used 35Gb more than my cap when I topped up that time, so I had to put in extra. Anything left in the account by month end was top-up data.
*EDIT*
I'm on with support now. This was their response:

In a nutshell, best case scenario, it seems they are either doing manual calculations for ALL their clients (surely not!) or their systems are broken and you're losing out on your top up. If I understand them correctly, instead of rolling over my 4.3 Gig, they are penalising me 45 Gb which is the data rolled over last month less the 4.3 I had left at the end of the month. They are ignoring the rolled over data in their usage calculations. Worst case scenario, this is actually an elaborate theft scheme by employees. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they are just cocking up the calculations manually or their systems are broken.
I received a call from the call center and they promised to call me tomorrow when the team is back in. I'll follow up with more info then. Now that I think about it, it's quite likely that when they told me I was 35Gb over my cap, it was because the month before's topup was not being used in the equasion.
Will definitely be doing that tomorrow morning. If supersonic claims to be the best ISP they will now need to prove it or just fail like RAINI have contacted @rpm @Jan and @Newsfeed to follow up. In my case there's definitely something funky happening. I will hear from them (supersonic) tomorrow on how 50Gb was added to my usage for month 1 at the end of month 2 / beginning of month three.
If you topped up, I can't see how they can say you had no carry-over. Compare the day by day usage for the past 3 months and see what it shows.

Yep it is.... But unfortunately at this point it's like you can't get any good deals out there. Is that uncapped not subject to throttling and some horrible FUP? Check the T's & C's before you buy!
I think this was your night data that they rolled over to your anytime day data, the exact same thing happened to meSo it seems supersonic "mistakenly" gave me additional data in March. I have a data cap of 200gb. Sometime in March I noticed that they doubled my data to 400gb (This happened to a friend of mine as well and we assumed it was some sort of promotion). I used about 230gb in March and assumed the remaining 170gb would roll over, but the whole doubling of data was a mistake, which meant that I actually used 30gb more than my 200gb cap. So, I had no roll-over for May and they deducted the 30gb from my May data cap....
