Supersport 2 on DSTV

Just want to know if anyone else is having this problem with this specific channel. Every time I put it on, the volume decreases to halfway, only for this channel, all the others are fine, the volume will be full but soon as I hit 202 on that remote, the volume drops to exactly half. Phoned the hotline, they give you that random bull****, reset your decoder, blah blah.
 
Yeah, then on BBCprime its kinda similar, watching Weakest link or Top Gear is cool until the adverts come on, then all of a sudden the neighbours on the opposite side of my complex can hear the adverts too! *Runs from other side of the house fumbling with remote to get sound down... LOL! wtf?
 
You must set the default volume for that channel. There should be a thread here somewhere that explains, as far as I can remember. Been brought up a few times.
 
Ja, but after you reset the volume for all channels to default the problem comes back a few weeks later. Really annoying. But for me DSTV is like a naughty child that never listens but you still have to love it. :)

That is because you accidentally set it to the other level. I think if you press OK while the volume is displayed, it sets the default to the displayed value (something like that)...
 
oh sorry for that, I did browse through the forum before starting this thread, dno how I missed it, but thanks anyway!

Exactly this. I've set my volume bar to only show for 1 second instead of the default 5 (or 10?). Haven't had the issue since. If you happen to brush the OK button while you've got the volume bar showing, you're setting the channel's custom volume without even realising it.
 
they must get over the last day of the nagpur test is all i have to say.
