Unfortunately it is not free, you need a premium subscription to watch HD channels which costs R529 per month. Plus an additional R65 per month if you want to record it.

I was being sarcastic, because Multichoice usually don't give something for free. Now they give Premium subscibers a channel that they don't have to pay extra for.

Fixed that for you. Was reading the multichoice website/forums today and there are plans to charge for the HD Bouquet separately...I think once they get more channels and viewers.

The commercial stated 12 June - 12 July, so don't expect a permanent channel.

Yes, it'll be canceled after the WC but will be up again sometime in August.

That's okay, if they crap the PVR cost Most UK satellite broadcasters charge extra for the HD channels, but not for the PVR function.
