Surely I can get better upload speed

I signed up for VOX internet and my line got activated today. Loving my 20mb download speed! When I signed up though I was led to believe that I would get up to 5mb upload. My attenuation seems very good from what i've read. Wondering if someone can give feedback on their line attenuation on upload and what they are syncing at before I start hassling the ISP for more upload. Here is a screenshot of my stats.

I have already asked for the profile to be changed to VDSL which it is now currently on.

You are getting quite a bit of noise on the line. Double check all your connections maybe try to swap out the telephone cable you are using between the router and phone jack.

The issue is noise on the line. Maybe a fault can be logged to have openserve see if they can improve the noise levels but according to the SNR it's about the max upload speed you can get hey.

Well for starters SNR should not dip below 6dB because that will cause the line to drop and resync. A line with a lot of FEC errors will likely feel slow even if it syncs as 20Mbps for example.

You can calculate the estimate distance from the exchange with this calculation ATUR (Attenuation) divided by 13.81dB will give you the estimate distance from the dslam.

Your upload speed is capped based on SNR though. 20Mbps VDSL line has a 5Mbps upload speed.

You should be able to get slightly better stats than that. No filter plugged in. RJ11 cable plugged directly into the wall socket and router? Maybe double check they are securely plugged in.
