Survarium is a free2play MMOFPS game set in the near future. The game focuses on a mass- scale ecological catastrophe on Earth.

I have been awaiting the release of this game for ages now.
Having played all the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games and STALKER 2 being cancelled, Vostok have created an amazing game off the backs of those great titles.

You have to craft ammo, clean water yourself in order to drink it, craft your own weapons, etc.
All whilst having to deal with massive Nuclear fallout and Nuclear Storms that ravage the outdoor areas forcing you to find cover.
All your actions and decisions have an impact as you are never sure when a nuclear storm will appear.
Night time is terrifying but a vital part of the game.

All in all it is going to be an amazing game.
The X-ray engine is breathtaking.

Lastly, has anyone been able to get an invite to the closed Beta?
I have waited for over 6 months to get an invite and still nothing.

They're actually very difficult to come by.
You enter on their site for lottery entries.
They have a counter on their site; each time the counter reaches 0, 3 invites are sent.
You up your chances by being active on the forum, etc.

I have 6 entries for each month since I signed up and still nothing.
So I to am wanting a beta key.

If they in beta it can't be too far off from launch. Any ETA yet?

Have you played on the X-Ray Engine?
Until you have you actually can't believe how good it looks.
 
After waiting a good 6 months for an invite I have finally cracked a knod and been invited to the closed beta.
I'm super excited to test the game is it looks amazing.
 
Ah yes!! Do you think it would realistically be released in october? Or will they delay it again? Ah im super excited. I thouroughly enjoyed STALKER. Top ten games iv ever played actually along with Half Life 1 to which I clocked at age 10 :erm: bad parental guidance LOL
 
To be fair I was thoroughly underwhelmed when I started playing it.
So much so I stopped after 5 minutes.
It had none of the atmosphere I was after nor did it seem to focus in any way on the survival aspects.
But I think it is purely due to it's Beta status and not all of the features being finalized.

The front-end is very focused on money it seems which is a pity.
So many stats and 'please buy this' on the front page.
I will have to explore the game more before making any form of judgment.
Personally I want it to be more like the Stalker games so I am still holding thumbs I will like it.
Graphically it looked nice but imo not in any way like the Stalker series.
 
Ah ok well thats bleak then, hopefully it will come out right in the end
 
Have the implemented the open world part yet? I'm waiting for that to come.

I kinda liked the competitive gameplay, though. Spent quite a bit of time on it a while back.
