anyone got any experience of this to share?

How much personal information do they ask for? (I'm mildly paranoid about sharing TMI online)

Anyone actually make any money, and did you actually receive it?

Thanks

PS I tend towards the skeptical.

PS I tend towards the skeptical.

I tried it a while back out of curiosity.

I don't think you will get much, if anything out of it.

Lots and lots of work. and a "15 minute" survey is closer to 45 minutes.

Skeptical is right... stay that way.

skepticism borne out by experience. registered with fake details ... lots of 'entries in our competition' earned - no actual cash. I'm calling it fake.

yeah I'm calling it fake - registered with false details (amazing how useful a throwaway email is) to check it out. eaned lots of entries in some draw ... like that is real!! and no actual money.

the only survey company i found where you actually get money out, or used to been a few years since i was active, is surveyhead now known as ipoll.. you get anything from a $1 to $5 or more per survey but there is a limit to when you can cash out.. back when i started it was $25 then you could cash out but later this was upped to $50.. i did get my $25 cashed out to paypal and then gave up since it was taking way too long to reach the $50 threshold.. i see that they have now locked it down to the US, Canada and UK only.. i lost access since its been more than a year that i have logged in there..

it just seems like a way to get idiots to provide all kinds of information for directed spamming.

yeah definitely.. 99% of the places out there will do that.. but i can honestly say that surveyhead or ipoll was legit back when i was active without the consequences of directed spamming..

the latest one that may be legit and you may want to try, is money for jam.. load it on your phone, you get list of possible jobs to do.. complete it and get paid.. that is the basic concept.. never stuck with it long enough to get paid, so dont know if it actually pays..

Thanks, that actually seems quite easy to do.

I like that you can cash out at various stories (PnP, Checkers etc). Can't see too many complaints about it either.

Try GlobalTestMarket, Enlighten Panel and Tell Us About It.

GlobalTestMarket used to send cheques but they've recently changed it to Takealot vouchers or PayPal.
Enlighten Panel has a few different rewards options like Takealot vouchers, MrD Food vouchers, etc. They also sometimes have really cool community forums that you can join that reward you with a lot of points.
Tell Us About It also has the Takealot vouchers and other vouchers, as well as an EFT cash option.

I've received rewards from all of these ones, you do need to have the patience and do the surveys when they come to you and it eventually adds up. It's not a get rich quick thing, but if you're bored and have time to waste, it's quite nice when you have enough to cash out for a reward :)

I've used Panel Station, where I transfer every 3000points to Takealot as a R70 voucher, and GlobalTestMarket will send you a Nedbank cheque of R500 for every 1000 points.

I'm really not so keen on all the personal information they require. Anonymous surveys don't need my name, address, phone number, ID number etc to collate valuable information from me.
