Hi there
I have recently obtained an USB Modem (not Desktop one) from MWEB iBurst and am having issues connecting SuSE 10.0 (kernel: 2.6.13-15-default) with it via USB.
I had a USB Desktop (the newer black one) which was connected via Ethernet but it isn't working, hence the new modem. I had an older white USB Desktop modem too which worked on SuSE's USB but it blew a few months ago
Anyone with help will be greatly appreciated!
Oh and if anyone is going to ask why I am staying with iBurst... currently it is the only way for me to connect to the internet from home. I have a Linux box sitting at home doing nothing because it was used to connect us to the internet over a home network. If I can get the USB to work again, then it won't be a waste of space anymore.
It is an old PIII 500+MHz machine.
Regards,
LA
