We use subversion (svn) as our source control tool with the TortoiseSVN client. I am having a problem updating over my 3G connection.

This is what I get when I select SVN Update for a folder:
2009/05/27 - 09:38:05 AM
Command : Update
Updated : C:\Clients\ACME\Releases\QA\_ReleaseTaskLists200905.xls
Updated : C:\Clients\ACME\Releases\QA\_ReleaseNotesQA.doc
Updated : C:\Clients\ACME\Releases\QA\_ReleaseTestHelper.doc
Error : REPORT of '/svn/Projects/!svn/vcc/default': Could not read response body: An
Error : existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
Error : (http://work1.acme.com)

Finished! :
362 kBytes transferred in 10 minute(s) and 24 second(s)

The next and last file that it should have updated is:
/ACME/Releases/QA/20090526.zip of 347kB which I could download via the webpage.

This only happens when I use Vodacom 3G (USB modem) to connect to the net. My signal and normal download/upload speeds are good.
When I am in the office using our local network, I do not have this problem. Colleagues using another 3G supplier (iBurst) do not experience this problem.

So it seems that it happens with files over a certain size (about 300kB) over the Vodacom 3G network.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Johan
