All I need to know is:

1. Do I need to provide any paperwork for the said hard drive or will they just take it in and give me a new one?

2. Will they allow me to swap a Seagate drive for a equivalent Western Digital drive?

Thanks.

1. Don't think so, if the drive did not come from them they will charge you a handling fee.
2 No

How old is the drive.
If you cant return to Rectron then you could try Storgate.
Rectron will test it Im sure.

Its under warranty with SG, but I rather want a Western Digital. Cant find the model I want online too.
