Swapping board instead of battery

Anyone know why Huawei is swapping the board in my phone instead of the battery which seems to be running out of life?

This is like taking your car to the mechanic and asking if they are swopping out the engine because you suspect the fuel tank is shrinking.

Perhaps an issue on the board is causing the battery to be drained quicker than usual...that's why they would replace the board.

Most cell repairs places don't do repairs on the board anymore.
