Swapping old SD decoder to HD PVR - Smartcard

Hi,

Was hoping someone would be able to advise me on my options.

Long story short I moved, at my new residence I want to swap the current SD decoder with my HD decoder, but my HD decoder is paired with my old smart card from parents subscription.

I know I can't just replace the SD decoder with my HD one and swap the smart cards, but what can I do?

Any info/help would be appreciated.

You will need a letter from your parents stating that they "sold" the decoder to you and send it to DSTv,

I'm not sure if they have changed this rule now, but maybe it can be done with a phone call from the current owner(your parents).

Done it over the phone, just make sure you have all there (your parents) details & yours handy.
